Make KINDNESS loud!

–I recently picked up a “Magnolia” magazine in the checkout line. Lee and I were fans of the show “Fixer Upper” when it was on HGTV. One of the reasons that I liked then show was that they, JoAnna and Chip Gaines, were so vocal about their faith. As I made my way through the magazine, I came across something that really resonated with me. The magazine wants to make kindness loud! (I love that!) In a world that seems to be getting darker and darker, they want to brighten it up by sharing kindness. There was a page in the magazine that had 8 suggestions of something each of us could do to make kindness loud. I thought it would be neat if Covenant could do the same. I took the liberty of copying “Magnolia’s” format and message and made a sheet for Covenant. Its simply another way for Covenant to shine. I hope to initiate the same thing with my organization at our conference in December. Missy can do this at Newberry High School, you can do something like this with a club you are in, or you can simply make your own list of things to do to make kindness loud!

One of the first Bible verses I learned was Ephesians 4:32. “Be ye kind one to another.” Jesus tells us to make kindness loud. Let’s do it! I have attached the list I have developed for Covenant. If you can’t print it out, I will have some at church on Sunday!
