Meet Charley Rose!
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” – John 10:27
Getting a new puppy is pure joy… and pure chaos. They want to explore everything, chew anything, and eat whatever falls on the floor (or… isn’t supposed to). But they also want to be near you, learn from you, and please you..
Puppies don’t come trained. They need time, patience, and love. (Pray for patience for me!) And if we’re honest, so do we. As followers of Jesus, we don’t instantly get everything right. We’re still learning to listen to His voice, obey His commands, and trust His direction.
The good news? Jesus is a patient Trainer. He doesn’t yell when we mess up. He calls us back, teaches us again, and celebrates when we get it right. Over time, the more we stay close to Him, the more His way becomes our way.
So, whether you’re training a puppy or being trained by the Lord, remember: progress takes time, love changes everything, and staying close to your Master is the key.
