Laughter
Last week, two friends and I spent 4 days in Palm Coast at the beach. We had a wonderful time. Not only were we able to relax and get rejuvenated for all the work ahead of us, we laughed, and laughed, and laughed. It was healing for our souls.
Sometimes life can get us down. We are tired, discouraged, and apprehensive about the future. But God knew this. Job 8:21 says, “He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.” Ecclesiastes 3:4 reminds us that there is a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance. I believe God grins when He hears us laughing, for laughter is contagious.
I will also tell you that while we laughed together, we also prayed together. The combination of the two was amazing. We left better friends than we were before and ready to tackle what lies ahead.
Find time to laugh. It will make you, Shine, Shine, Shine!
