Woo Hoo It’s Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

Lee has been working on our road. The entrance way is paved but there is about a half-mile that is a dirt/grass road. He has been doing it in stages because it is a lot of work. The section he is working on now has required us to drive off to the side in the grass. It was only after one or two passes where you could tell there was a new path to follow. It became a habit to go down the new path instead of the old one. The Amazon delivery person and anyone coming to our house can see that there is a new way to follow.

I know you can see where I am going with this. When we repeatedly stray from the pathway that we are supposed to follow, it becomes easier and easier to follow the wrong way. Don’s sermon Sunday reminded me that we must stay on the right course. As we stray, it becomes easier and easier to make the wrong choices. The pathway that we must follow is the one that began at Calvary.

Psalm 16:11 says, “You will make known the path of life; In  your presence is fullness of joy: In your right hand there are pleasures forever.”

Now that he has gotten the section where we can drive on it, I have had to remember to go down the right road. I see other way and must make a cognitive decision to go down the right road now. We must be vigilant and make the right choices because our choices influence those who come behind us. They see the new way we have made, and they follow it as well.

Proverbs 3:6 is the key; “In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will make your paths straight.”

See you Sunday! That’s a great way to help us follow the pathway to heaven.

Shine, Shine, Shine!
