Time Tebow’s devotion for December 7th was very meaningful for me.
Once you read it, you will know why I loved it!
“We develop our character over time, usually through the process of making wise choices when no one is looking. A sign of godly character is when your public face matches your private face.
Do you know what I love about how humanity is designed? In everything we do, we have a chance to influence. In fact, one of the greatest things we can do is influence other people for the better. Like Paul, I wat to bring out the best in others, from those who are closest to me to those I meet for the first time. I want people’s lives to be better because they know me.
I believe that every time we meet someone, it very rarely ends in neutral. Their experience with us is either positive or negative. What we say or do is attached to purpose and value. As we follow in the footsteps of Christ, may we live in such a way to brighten another person’s darkest day.”
It’s important for us to remember that our actions and attitudes influence others. Every single day of the year, our actions should reflect our love for our Savior. During the holidays, be extra aware of how you respond to others. Our “light” can remind others of the true reason for the season.
Come share the JOY as we “Color it Christmas!” Sunday.
Shine, Shine, Shine!
