I worry each week about what I am going to share with you on Wednesday. It seems as though God takes care of that every time. This week He once again used my Tim Tebow devotional to inspire me.
Last week a friend of many of us at Covenant passed away. She was a beautiful lady with a heart of gold. Her ministry was to get up each morning and write people uplifting notes. I was on the receiving end of many of those special notes. It always amazed me as to how those notes always came right when I needed them.
Sunday before last, I thought about Pat and sent her a short note on Monday. I had no idea that she had passed away on Sunday. She never received my card, but I look at it as a tribute to Pat and her ministry.
What inspired this story were these words:
“Let’s do things on this earth that we will talk about in heaven.”
Pat can talk about the lives she made better by sending uplifting notes. What will you talk about?
