Woo Hoo it’s Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

I had the most amazing Monday afternoon! As many of you know my son Kyle has his real estate license. Recently he qualified for his Captain’s license. He is now able to captain charter fishing trips for interested parties. I have been impressed with how busy he has become in such a short amount of time.

He had a charter Monday morning but invited me to Steinhatchee that afternoon to see the new marina where he is docking his boat and meet the people there who have helped him so much. When I arrived, he was finishing up with his clients. They happened to be a pastor and his wife from Statesboro, Georgia. The wife, like me, leads the music at their church. They were wonderful people and had such nice things to say about Kyle. As we sat and had lunch, he would stop numerous people and introduce them to me. He would share how much each person had helped him and I loved hearing their fishing stories. Almost every person I met bragged on Kyle. I’m telling you I was one proud momma. He has worked hard, made his way in a new field, and has developed important relationships. We then took a trip out on his boat and again I was impressed by his knowledge about fishing, scalloping, and taking care of the ocean.

I hope that when I get to heaven, Jesus wants to take me around and introduce me to Moses, Paul and Mary, his mother. I pray that my life here on earth has been one that He is proud of. Am I working hard for Him? Am I making my way according to His word in this life? Am I developing important and meaningful relationships? Am I knowledgeable about the Bible and continuing to learn and study? Sometimes, it’s good to stop and think about these things.

I want to hear, “well done my good and faithful servant, well done.” I think I have some work to do. How about you?

Shine, Shine, Shine!
