Happy Wednesday!
Have you heard the term FOMO? It means Fear Of Missing Out. The most excellent part about being a Christian is that once we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we do not have to worry about missing out on what heaven has to offer. John 1:12 says, “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
Jesus tells us in John 3:3, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
We can be afraid of missing out on a party, or missing out on a great meal, but because of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice, we will not miss out on heaven. All He asks is that we give Him our heart and that we believe.
The ensemble sang a song a couple of weeks ago called “We Believe.” The words have stuck with me for 2 weeks.
We believe, and we are never the same.
We believe and we have life in the name, Jesus.
We believe, though we have we never seen.
We believe, and choose to follow our king,
Jesus.
We believe,
that Jesus is real.
We believe in truth he reveals.
We believe that he saves us from sin.
We believe that he’s coming again.
We believe, oh, we believe.
We believe, that Jesus is real.
We believe in the truth he reveals.
We believe that he saves us from sin.
We believe that he’s coming again,
We believe.
We believe and we are never the same.
No FOMO for us because We believe!
Shine, Shine, Shine!
