Happy Wednesday!
Long week last week. I apologize I did not send out a Wednesday message. I once again had COVID and this one was a doozy! I am still not 100%, but I am much better. I have very little energy but am back at work and taking it slow.
I appreciate the kind words shared with my parents about how much I am missed at church. I guess I add salt to our Sunday service. After my parents shared that with me, in between naps I started thinking about how we each add salt to people’s lives. We add a little bit of flavor to this world in our own special way. That is exactly what we are called to do. Matthew 5:13-16 reads: 13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Thank you for adding salt to my life. Look around you today and take time to “Pass the Salt.”
