Happy Wednesday on Thursday!
I am down at Mission Inn in Howey-in-the-Hills. Howey-in-the-Hills is north of Orlando. When I arrived last night, I was going to freshen up and take my friend April to dinner. I opened my suitcase and uh, oh… I had left my makeup, contacts, toothbrush, and medicine at home[TP1] . I immediately called Lee and asked him I he would meet me halfway. He loaded up the dogs, grabbed my makeup bag and headed south while I headed north. It worked out perfectly. I was back at Mission Inn in a little over an hour.
It reminded me that God does not meet us halfway. We say we believe; we accept Him as our Lord and Savior and then He makes the trip. He doesn’t say that He will meet us halfway. He does it all and has done it all by dying on the cross.
I was so appreciative of Lee for meeting me halfway. I called him numerous times and said thank you last night. I hope you will take a minute to call your Savior and say thank you for going all the way to the cross for me.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. That whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
