Woo Hoo It’s Wednesday

I love to read. I read a genre called “cozy mysteries.” A cozy mystery has amateur sleuths, small-town settings, and a lack of explicit violence, sex, or profanity. It’s what I read before I go to bed each evening. Last night this was one of the last lines in a book I was reading, “Peace isn’t the absence of storms. It’s learning how to dance in between the thunderclaps.”

I immediately wrote it down because it sounded like a good message for me to share with you. Some weeks are full of rumbling skies. Emails piling up, schedules shifting, unexpected challenges rolling in like dark clouds. We keep waiting for the calm, for everything to finally quiet down, for life to get easier. But what if peace isn’t found after the storm? What if it’s found right in the middle of it?

Peace looks like laughing even when the to-do list is long.
It’s choosing gratitude when things don’t go as planned.
It’s taking a deep breath, turning up the music, and finding your rhythm anyway.

The thunder may still rumble, but you don’t have to stand still and brace for it. You can move. You can smile. You can sway. You can dance. You can shine!

So today, don’t wait for perfect conditions.
Step lightly. Find the joy.
And when the thunder claps… just keep dancing and shining.

Have a fabulous Wednesday  and Shine, Shine, Shine!
