Woo Hoo It’s Wednesday

I am enjoying Tim Tebow’s Devotional. March 22nd was one I especially appreciated after going through the medical ordeal with my co-worker. The verse for the day was Psalm 118:24. “This is the day the Lord has Made.”

Tim went on to write:

“How many times have you heard, or even said the phrase ”Good things come to those who wait”? While there is certainly some truth in those words, the saying is more apt for a toddler looking to gobble up an ice cream sundae before dinner than it is for a grown-up committed to living a mission-possible life.

We are not promised tomorrow. We are not guaranteed next week. We do. however, have this moment—the time we are given when we wake up each day. God gives us today as a gift. He wants us to pursue today using the time we are gifted to grow, to love others well, to help someone and to pursue a dream He’s put on our hearts. Today is our day to live without fear of the unknown, to live without being chained to our fears or what-ifs. No matter what today holds, we can choose to say yes to the opportunities of this moment.”

He ends by saying, “Make the most of your life by making the most of your day.”

Tina is going to end with saying, be the light in the darkness…it will brighten yours and someone else’s day.

Shine, Shine, Shine!
