Woo Hoo It’s Wednesday

It’s Springtime. Don’t you just love the azaleas in bloom and the vibrant green everything is? It’s like God is sending us an Easter card saying “Look at my beautiful world, and don’t forget the beautiful new life I have given you. I can make the bleak and dreary colors of winter transform into the rich colors of spring. Imagine what I can do to you!”

What an amazing thing. God doesn’t see the ugliness of sin in me. Isaiah 61:10 says: “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD; my soul shall exult in my God,

for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation.

he has covered me with the robe of righteousness,

as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress,

and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”

God sees me as clothed in righteousness because I have accepted Him as my Lord and Savior.  He sees the beauty in me. The key is that I must see the beauty in me and not be discouraged when the blemish of sin rears its ugly head. But, in me I have the hope of glory. He lives in me and will take that sin and throw it far, far, away. Wow!

When you wake up in the morning, take a minute to look around and see the beauty of God’s world. Then thank Him for making us beautiful and our lives beautiful by casting away our sins on the cross.

Be-you-tiful and Shine, Shine, Shine!
