I read a devotion in the Max Lucao book Ron provided us at Covenant and wanted to share it with you.
The beginning of the devotion tells of a bike ride Max went on with a friend. The ride was much more difficult than he was expecting. After a while he had to stop and catch his breath. That’s when his partner on the ride spotted the problem. Both rear brakes were rubbing against the back tire. The rubber grips made each pedal more difficult. He goes on to remind us that we do the same thing. Guilt presses on one side. Dread drags the other. No wonder we are weary. We lug around yesterdays’ troubles and download tomorrow’s struggles.
Max gives us 3 things we can do to make this better.
1. Saturate your day in His grace.
2. Entrust your day to His oversight.
3. Accept His direction.
Grace. Oversight. Direction. G.O.D.
Fill your day with God and Shine, Shine, Shine!
