Wednesday

Lost!

Saturday morning I woke up ready to print the bulletin. When I turned on my computer I saw nothing but a black screen. A very black screen. I immediately googled “my computer has a black screen” and was greeted with the words, “the black screen of death.” My heart sank. This is my work computer, which has also become my personal computer. All of my Wednesday messages are lost somewhere, my work from school, and all of the work documents I have created. I took my computer to Tallahassee Monday. Went back to get it yesterday and was told it was a goner. I am using a loner while awaiting a new computer and I am hoping they are able to find the files I am looking for. It seems pretty hopeless right now.

As we look into the future, we too see a blank screen.  We don’t know what the future holds. But the good news is Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” If we put our hope and faith in Him, we are assured a future that is brighter than we can ever imagine.

Love you,

Tina
