Your times are in My hands.  So trust in Me, beloved.  I am training you to feel secure in the midst of change and uncertainty.  It can actually be a relief to realize you are not in control of your life.  When you accept this human condition while resting in My sovereignty, you become increasingly free.

I wonder how many of you feel free today???  How many feel your life is stable and certain???  Have you ever felt more uncertain about your life, and the prospects for being released from this coronavirus jail that we have all be in for over 6 months now!!

Psalm 118:24 – This is the day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

When we focus on the coronavirus, or our health issues, or our financial difficulties, or family issues, it can be a pretty dark day for us!

1 Peter 1:3-4 – Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.

When we focus on our inability to return to Covenant church services with our friends, and to socially gather with our Christian friends, it can be sad, even depressing.

John 16:33 – These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

It is human nature to focus on our earthly problems, to worry about next week and next year, when we don’t know for sure what God has planned for us today or even tomorrow!  It is why we can become exhausted from the paralysis we may feel when our earthly problems consume us – like the coronavirus can and does to so many people.  That is why we need to train our minds to always turn to Him – turn to His Word, which can provide us the peace and comfort that we need at that moment and always in our lives!  So when your mind becomes consumed with mere earthly problems, turn to His Word and be renewed and refreshed!!!!

Philippians 4:7 – And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

AMEN!!
