Message from UF President

Dear Covenant Family:

Not all of you may know who Ben Sasse is.  He has been the President of the University of Florida for almost a year now, before that he was a long time US Senator from Nebraska and had also served as President of a small college in Nebraska.  Ben Sasse wrote a letter yesterday to all Jewish Gators regarding the current situation in Israel and the Gaza Strip.  His letter was picked up by the Wall Street Journal and published today as a staff editorial. 

I wanted to share the WSJ editorial with you and it is attached here.  His letter provides a perspective not seldom reported by today’s media but it is a heartfelt and Godly response to all this horror that has recently occurred in Israel.  Please feel free to share this attachment with anyone else who might appreciate this Godly perspective.
