Covenant Update From Ron 11/9/2020

Yesterday we had a good service at Covenant.  We had 18 members attending.  It was great having Mack and Carol Vlacos back after they had missed a few weeks with medical issues for both of them.

We started to see the corner by the stairs begin to fill with the needed supplies for Pine Grove.  We look forward to having the area continue to gather needed cleaning and paper goods during the month and we will deliver all that is given to Pine Grove at the end of November.

Also remember that our ministry this month is Bread of the Mighty Food Bank.  We always do this ministry in November so we can contribute to their food for the holidays program to feed the many hungry families in Alachua County.  Please be as generous as you can to this important local ministry.

Attached is the bulletin from yesterday’s service.  Note that Tina was unable to be there as she hurt her back on Saturday.  Please keep Tina in your prayers.  Also remember Joyce McCallum who is now in Hospice.  Also pray for Covenant today as we hold a funeral service at 11 AM this morning for Betsy Goodman.  Betsy and her husband Buddy are longtime dear friends of Lee and Tina Pinkoson, and also have become good friends with the Morgan and Marks families.  Betsy asked that her good friends provide her funeral service so we are proud to honor that request for her.  Also, continue to pray for the others listed on the bulletin Prayer Requests and for all members of Covenant Church.

May God bless everyone who is part of Covenant Church!
