Covenant Update

Dear Covenant Family:

Today was a good day at Covenant.  We had 35 people in attendance for today’s church service.  Today we had a praise report from Darlene Sanchez.  Her recovery from her recent surgery is going well, and she thanked everyone for their prayers during her ordeal of waiting for the surgery to take place.   Also, Brent Harris, a previous Covenant Pastor, recently had open heart surgery in Jacksonville, and we learned today that he had a stroke during the surgery.  He seems to be doing as well as can be expected and he can communicate with people.   Patsy Sutton was recently scheduled for dental surgery and it had to be cancelled at the last minute because one of her doctors was concerned about it.  She has now been approved for the dental surgery so will have it tomorrow.  Also, Carolyn Vlacos asked for prayers for her brother who has just had surgery.  Please keep all these people and our previous folks over the past few weeks in your prayers this week.

Cindy and I have two necessary family trips coming up the next 3 weeks, so we will have to miss church the next 3 Sundays.  Unfortunately, I will not be able to send my weekly TGIF message and any Covenant updates while we are gone.  I sure do not like missing our church services but we also need to meet our family requests.  We will miss you all till we return!
