Covenant Update

Dear Covenant Family:

Yesterday was another great Advent service.  We had 20 attendees in church, including Anita Minck, it was her first time back at Covenant since we reopened.

Below I enclose 2 new pictures of our Advent wreath.  Yesterday, Carl and Shirley added the beautiful signs proclaiming the peace, love, hope, and joy of the season.  They gave this additional beautiful gift in loving memory of Shirley’s extended family who were so important to her throughout her life.  Thanks to Carl and Shirley for this beautiful and meaningful addition to their Advent gift to Covenant Church!

Remember our two Covenant ministries for December, our local mission is the Helping Hands Clinic and our global mission is the Costas Family ministry in Brazil.  Note the attached Christmas card from our African ministry, a picture of King, his wife Priscilla, and their two children who grew up in Africa but now are US college graduates.

Please note that the Christmas Eve service will be held at 4 PM and include Communion.  The service will be completed in time that everyone can return home before it gets dark.  Please remember to wear an appropriate face cover if you are attending this service.  Also attached is the bulletin from yesterday’s service.

May God continue to bless Covenant Church!  Merry Christmas to all!!

Ron
