Dear Covenant members:

Yesterday was another good day at Covenant.  We had 16 members in attendance, and attached is the bulletin of service.  Note that Bill Mercado led the music yesterday as Tina missed the service since Lee tested positive for coronavirus a week ago.  The good news is Tina tested negative for coronavirus a few days ago and Lee is also doing well.  But a big THANK YOU to Bill for leading our music yesterday!!  Also, Craig Alexander took on a new role a few months ago by taking up the offering each Sunday, so a big THANK YOU to Craig as well for supporting Covenant!!

Also note from the bulletin that yesterday began the Advent season and Carl did a great job of explaining Advent to us at the beginning of church and then giving a good sermon using scripture from Mark 13:24-37.  For those not in attendance yesterday, you should read this scripture today.

Don’t forget that our annual church meeting is this coming Sunday December 6 immediately following the church service.  If you cannot be in attendance next Sunday for the meeting, remember that you have 2 options available to vote for (or against) the budget and for re-election of Joe Morgan as Trustee and Treasurer.  Kudos to Marilyn Bishop for already calling me and registering her votes on the two issues at hand.  I’d love to hear from more of you this week!

Finally, yesterday was Anita Minck’s birthday and today is Tina Floyd’s birthday.  Feel free to call or email them today with birthday wishes.
