Covenant Update

Dear Covenant Family:

We had a very good service at Covenant yesterday with 24 attendees, in spite of the bad weather.  Ron led the shortened service, since we were also holding a business meeting after the service to vote on Don Mauldin as our next Pastor.  The sermon was titled Change  and dealt with the changes we all experience throughout our personal life and understanding that churches also experience change, and we should embrace it with God’s support.  Attached is the church bulletin, and please note the Father’s Day quotes provided by Tina.

After the church service, we had a very good discussion about Don Mauldin as our next Pastor.  The result was overwhelming support to hire Don as our next Pastor.  So the Trustees will meet with Don soon to discuss our church needs.  Don has some vacation time planned so it will likely be early July before we meet with him.  Our expectation is that he will likely start in this position in late July.

Next Sunday, we will have Richard Parker back with us.  It has been over 2 months since we had him lead our service.  His wife is Priscilla and she has been there with him each time he has been here.  So please come to church next Sunday and welcome Richard and Priscilla back to Covenant.

May everyone have a blessed week!

Ron
