Dear Covenant Family:
I am sending out another update as we have some additional announcements since Sunday.
Our ministry to supply toiletries to Newberry High School students through Missy Mauldin is next scheduled for May when we again have a month with 5 Sundays. However, their toiletry supply is very low right now and school would end before we could deliver supplies contributed throughout May. So we are going to move this ministry up to April instead of May so we can supply these needed toiletries before the school year ends. We would only have four Sundays in April but we hope people can contribute some extra toiletries because school then is out for the summer months, and some students may need some extras to get through summer.
Note that the Pine Grove ministry for their paper and cleaning supplies will still be held in May, a 5-Sunday month.
We also have two Prayer List updates. Note that Carol King has been released from the hospital, so is back home after her successful treatment for irregular heartbeat. Also note that Patsy Sutton’s sister died last week, so please keep Patsy in your prayers this week.
We also want to make sure that everyone has Don Mauldin’s phone number handy. His cell phone number is 352-262-5349 so you may want to write it down in a handy spot where you can access it when needed. We also plan to include it regularly going forward in the church bulletin for easy access. We want to make sure all members have access to Pastor Don as needed.
