Covenant Update

Dear Covenant Family:

We had 24 folks at church yesterday.  Tina gave the sermon and it was titled Happy Birthday.  That was an appropriate topic for Tina as we also sang Happy Birthday to her as Sunday was also her birthday!!  Her scripture supported the 7 spiritual blessings we celebrate on our spiritual birthdays.   It was another great day at Covenant Church!

This month’s ministry is the St. Francis House.  If you would like to make a donation to this long time well known local ministry, please note it on your check.  Attached is the bulletin from yesterday’s church service.

We are pleased to have Don Mason provide our upcoming services for Palm Sunday on March 28, Good Friday at 5 PM on April 2, and Easter Sunday on April 4.  Note that Holy Communion will be served at the Good Friday service.  We hope many of you will be able to make it to these special services in the annual Christian calendar.

The Trustees have also finalized a plan for a rose garden along the west wall of the church.  This rose garden is made possible through donations made in memory of Joyce McCallum by a number of her family and friends outside of Covenant and a number of Covenant members as well.  If you would still like to make a donation, you can do so.  Please note the word Joyce on your check which will then credit that donation to the rose garden.  Please note that in the future, other families can also dedicate memorial plants in the rose garden to loved Covenant members that pass.
