Covenant Update

Dear Covenant Family:

We had a good service today at Covenant.  We only had 24 folks in attendance, but we know a number of folks were out with illness today.  Please see today’s bulletin for more information and check out the Sentence Sermons that Tina included in the bulletin, they are very good.

On our Prayer List, Darlene Sanchez is finally scheduled for her needed surgery this coming Friday, so keep her in your prayers.  Also, Diane Mauldin’s sister and husband are visiting with their missionary adult child so keep both the parents and missionaries in your prayers until all return safely to the US.  Our Prayer List continues with Marilyn Bishop, Teresa Robbins, Patsy Sutton, Mack Vlacos, Pastor Carl, Pastor Don’s sister with pneumonia, Lori Benz’ sister Robbie, and Cindy and my friend being treated for lung cancer.  Don’t forget our sick members as well including Tina Pinkoson, Missy Mauldin, and Craig Alexander.

Pastor Don’s sermon today was titled No Excuses and his scripture was Jeremiah chapter 1.  His sermon was recorded and should be available to listen to by tomorrow sometime.  If you cannot make it to church, you can still listen to all of Pastor Don’s sermons on our Covenant website.
