Covenant Update

Dear Covenant Family:

We had a great service at Covenant today with 28 folks in attendance.  It was good to have Pastor Don back, but he was under the weather today.  We need to continue praying for Mack Vlacos, Darlene Sanchez, Victoria McArthur’s unspoken request, and Cindy and my friend receiving chemotherapy for his lung cancer.  New prayer requests today include Larry Noegel who was out with pneumonia, Missy Mauldin was under the weather, Pastor Don, Maurita McKee’s daughter-in-law who has been ill for 6 weeks now, and Lori Benz’s sister Robbie whose foot was amputated last week and now needs our prayers as she will face a lengthy recovery and have to learn how to use a new prosthetic foot.  Please keep all these people in your prayers this week.

Today’s church bulletin is attached for your information.  Also note that the YAH group will not meet this Tuesday as Larry Noegel was the scheduled speaker and he will now not be able to attend. 

I have been providing summaries of Pastor Don’s sermons for quite awhile in my weekly updates since we were unable to provide them on our website.  However, we now are able to record our Sunday sermons and make them available on our website.  Don’s sermon today is already available on the website, so there is no need for my summaries going forward.  Our website can be accessed at https://gainesvillecovenantchurch.org/, then click on Sermons and click on Pastor Don’s sermon. 

Tonight, we had a very nice Valentine’s Dinner at Covenant.  I will send a few pictures in a separate email right after I send this email to you.

Please note that Cindy and I will be out of town the next 2 weeks visiting our children and grandchildren in DC.  So I will not be able to send any updates.  We look forward to seeing you all again in 3 weeks!  Have a blessed week!
