Covenant Update

Dear Covenant Family:

It was a great day at Covenant yesterday, we had 30 people attending our service.  Attached is today’s bulletin, so you can keep up with planned events.  Remember our Valentine’s Day Banquet next Sunday at 5 PM, please brings friends and family for a lasagna dinner, salad, garlic bread, desserts, and drinks!  Everything will be provided by Covenant, so no need to bring anything except people!  Folks eager to watch the Super Bowl can be home in time for the game, others can stay and visit as they wish!

Our Prayer request list continues to include Marilyn Bishop, Patsy Sutton, Mack Vlacos, Carl Romey, Darlene Sanchez, and a friend of Cindy and mine who is currently receiving treatment for his lung cancer.  New prayer requests were asked for Lori Benz’ sister Robbie who recently broke her leg and now her foot will need to be amputated this week; Sam Parker’s sister Wilen who fractured her hip, a family whose daughter is friends with Michelle Miller’s granddaughter Tessa where the father died in a car accident – his daughter was with him in the car but she is doing OK in the hospital but has not yet been told of her father’s death: a 98-year-old friend of Edwina’s who hurt her back: Larry Noegel who was under the weather today: and Dash, a young friend of Mack and Carolyn Vlacos who attends with them occasionally, whose dog died recently.  Please keep all these folks in your prayers this week.

Ron led today’s service since Pastor Don and Diane had to travel to Alabama to visit family.  They will be back next Sunday.  Today we were able to tape Ron’s sermon and are working to upload it to our website.  If we can accomplish that, we will also be able to tape sermons going forward and store them on our website for folks to be able to listen to our sermons when they cannot attend church.  Ron will send out information on how to access this new information as soon as we work out the details.

I wish you all a very blessed week!

Ron
