Dear Covenant Family:

I got up this morning and read today’s message from Sarah Young in Jesus Always, and felt I had to share it with you.  It is so relevant for the times we are facing now with the coronavirus.

Sarah Young message from Jesus Always on April 4, 2020

Your times are in My hands.  My holy hands are absolutely capable of caring for you and meeting your needs.  I want you to relax in My soverign watchcare, trusting Me to do what is best.  Because I am totally trustworthy, it’s safe to commit both the “whats” and the “whens” of your life into My care.

As long as you remain on this side of heaven, you will have to submit to the reality of time.  …..   Someone who is suffering may yearn for relief – and want it instantly – but he must wait.  I, however, am above the tyranny of time; I am its Master.  If you’re struggling with having to wait for something, turn to Me in trusting acceptance.  Don’t fight against what you cannot change.  Instead, rejoice in the knowledge that the Master of time understands your struggles and loves you with an everlasting love.

Psalm 31:14-15 – But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.”  My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies and from those who pursue me.

We are all ready for the coronavirus to be over, to go away and let us return to our normal lives, to be with each other again, to be able to go to the grocery store and come back to Covenant Church.  But as Sarah says, our times are in His hands, so we must wait …. for Him!!  Just as we wait patiently for next Sunday, to celebrate His resurrection again.  Even though we cannot be together physically on Easter, our hearts can be together as one as we celebrate that joyful day.  Our times are in His hands – how joyful is that sound!!

Peace and joy be with you all until we can again gather at Covenant Church!!
