Dear Covenant Family:
Here is an update for you on the upcoming Holy Week at Covenant Church. A Good Friday service has been on your church calendar, but we had not yet announced it. We will have a Good Friday service next Friday, April 15, at 5 PM. The service will be led by Pastor Don and Tina and will include communion.
Also, we announced in church last Sunday that members could bring Easter lilies to church for the Easter service. We will provide a list of lilies brought to church providing the name of the person donating the lily and who they wish to honor or memorialize with the donation. Last Sunday, we also mentioned that Covenant would try and provide some lilies in church for folks who could not find any lilies or did not have time to shop. We have found some lilies and there are 12 at Covenant for Holy Week. We announced last Sunday that members could pay $5 for one of the church lilies, please see Joe Morgan on Sunday morning if you would like to purchase one so he can get the information on who is being honored / memorialized. If you can’t be there Sunday, but would like to purchase one to remember a loved one, you can call or text Ron Marks (352-870-9843) or email him (ronmarks06@cox.net), and he will get the information to Joe. Anyone who brings a lily to church or donates one Covenant is offering should take their lily home with them after the Easter service.
Please bring any family and friends with you to Covenant for the Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter services, and also for our 35th anniversary Fellowship Lunch on April 24.
