Dear Covenant Family:
Covenant Church wants to inform you of 2 special Christmas activities planned for this Christmas season so you can put them on your calendar.
First, we plan to have a Covenant Christmas Social on Sunday December 19 at 5 PM. It will be similar to the Peanut Boil Social and also to the Thanksgiving Dinner that we have had recently. The get together will be a time for fellowship and food for Covenant members and friends and their families. Covenant Church will provide plenty of boiled shrimp with cocktail sauce and drinks. Attendees will be asked to bring a favorite finger food to share with others. It will not be a complete meal like the Thanksgiving dinner but there should be plenty of food and time to visit with each other.
Then we are also planning a Christmas Eve service on Friday, December 24 at 5 PM. It will provide members a chance to come together and share in the blessing of Jesus’ birth through scripture and song, and then allowing members to be home early to be with family on this important night in the church calendar.
We look forward to these two activities to close out 2021 on a high note at Covenant Church.
